The Council members scheduled for election at the meeting are for the positions of Vice President, Secretary and two Councillors.
As of 15 October, we have received the following nominations (Click on each name to read CVs):
Vice-President: Andrew Stark (New Zealand) / Joe Begley (Australia)
Secretary: Christine McCahill (New Zealand)
OMA Council: Jayne Hardy (Australia) / David Lobb (Cook Islands) / Liz Mitchell (New Zealand).
Consequently, elections for these positions of VP & Council will proceed via ballot at the AGM in accordance with clause 34.2 of the OMA Constitution.
As advised in previously sent notices of the Annual General Meeting, OMA Member countries are each entitled to two delegates to the meeting.
A delegate must be a member or office bearer of the Member that he or she is representing. Associate Member countries are each entitled to a representative (non-voting) to the meeting. If they have not already done so, Member countries are asked to advise the names and email addresses of their delegates and Associate Member countries the name and email address of their representative so that a link for the Zoom meeting can be sent to them.
